VMA Global College and Training Centers, Inc. proudly held the Blessing and Inauguration of its new Marine Engineering Building, a significant milestone in advancing maritime education and training. The event was graced by the Board of Trustees led by Dr. Elizabeth Orola-Salabas, Chairperson, and Atty. Danilo P. Cruz, Vice Chairperson. Also in attendance were key school executives: Capt. Niño Elson Orola-Salabas, President; Dr. Remedios Johanna Salabas-Vargas, Executive Vice President; Ms. Ellisther Niña Orola-Ligna, Vice President for Training Centers; Dr. Carlitos Orola, Vice President for VMA TEST-C.
The celebration was further honored by the presence of distinguished industry partners including Capt. Edgardo T. Baratang, President of K Line Maritime Academy Phils.; C/E Shingo Arimura, KLMA Representative; Capt. Makoto Kono, Director/General Executive Manager of K Line RORO Bulk Ship Management; Capt. Hiroaki Uba, KLMA Technical Supervisor; Engr. Mark Anthony Mesina, KLMA Scholarship Manager; Mr. Hiroshi Fukuda, Assistant General Manager of K Line RORO Bulk Ship Management; C/M Mark Lester M. Angala, Assistant Training Manager of Veritas Maritime Corporation; and Mr. Pablito Emboltorio, Fleet Manager/Scholarship Officer of Ventis Maritime Corporation.
The solemn blessing was officiated by Very Rev. Fr. Lou-An P. Torrefranca, VF. This newly inaugurated facility marks a bold step toward equipping future marine engineers with world-class, industry-aligned training and resources.
