The College of Maritime Studies of VMA Global College and Training Centers, Inc. successfully celebrated Maritime Day 2025 at the RSB Gymnasium on September 25, 2025, with the theme “Our Ocean, Our Obligation, Our Opportunity.”
The event aimed to promote maritime awareness, excellence, and unity among cadets through meaningful and engaging activities.
The celebration featured major competitions such as Tinig Marino, Sayaw Marino, and Cadet of Excellence 2025, which highlighted the talents, discipline, and leadership of maritime students.
In Tinig Marino, Team #8 Wave Defenders emerged as Champion, followed by Team #4 Neptune’s Warriors as 1st Runner-Up and Team #6 Tidal Troupes as 2nd Runner-Up.
For Sayaw Marino, Team #2 Oceanus Odyssey claimed the championship, while Team #1 Poseidon Fury and Team #4 Neptune’s Warriors placed as 1st and 2nd Runner-Up, respectively.
Meanwhile, Cadet #7 MDPN. Armada, Asthy Dain C. of Blue Horizon was named Cadet of Excellence 2025, with Cadet #1 MDPWN. Suanque Ina Samara S. of Poseidon’s Fury and Cadet #6 MDPN. Abellar, Art Robert S. of Tidal Troupes as 1st and 2nd Runner-Up.
