DOCUMENT CHECKLIST
Documentary requirements by student type
Submit all original documents to the Registrar’s Office during enrollment. requirements vary depending on your student type.
College enrollment requirements are easier to manage when applicants prepare in advance. First, identify whether you are a new student, continuing student, transferee, or returnee. Collect the original documentary requirements for that category. Complete the applicable medical tests and keep the results organized. Review the latest enrollment announcement, then bring the documents and payment information needed for the walk-in stations.
Applicants should also review VMA’s academic programs before enrollment because program choice affects the department visited during Step 8 and determines whether maritime or non-maritime medical requirements apply. Questions about incomplete records, subject evaluation, transfer credentials, or returnee clearance should be directed to the responsible VMA office.
